This is the former home of William
Wilberforce (1759-1833) a famous 18th century moral campaigner. It
was built in 1626 and is now a museum which tells the moving story
of his success in his fight to abolish slavery. This house, with the
adjoining Georgian houses, is also a museum on local history and has
rooms furnished in the different styles of the ages. There are
costumes, dolls and a number of items of local interest, this
includes the 17th Century Hull Silver Collection. Situated In High
St. in the old town between the River Hull and Lowgate.
Open all the year round at the following times :- Monday - Saturday 10am to
5pm. Sunday 1.30pm to 4.30pm.

This is the only remaining fort in Yorkshire
with Civil War and Napoleonic origins. There are displays which take
you through many different periods in history, including period
artillery and waxworks. The history of the fort has been varied and
it includes being an Ammunition Depot during the 2nd world war.
There is the Duke of York Bar/Restaurant and Churchill Tea Rooms.
Daily Craft fair.
Situated 4 miles from Kingston Upon Hull, off the A1033 Hedon Road
to the village of Paull.
Open 7 days a week from April to October.

This Spurn Lightship was built in 1927 in
Goole and was positioned south-east of Spurn point until 1959, it
was then transferred to the Bull station. After it's life in the
Humber Estuary guiding shipping to safety it was decommissioned in
1975. In 1986 it was put into Kingston Upon Hull marina and is now a
Museum. On it you can see the Masters cabin, the crews quarters and
the galley. Situated at the northern end of Hull Marina. It is open
during the months of May-Sept.

It is the world's deepest aquarium with 87
tonnes of salt and 25 million litres of water.
Find out the story of the world's oceans with a journey back in
time and into the Future. Explore the oceans floor from tropical
coral lagoons to the icy wastes of Antarctica. Walk through the
worlds deepest viewing tunnel and watch the different Shark species
swim above you. There are shark feeding shows and Diver
presentations. There is an underwater glass lift from which you can
see all the different types of fish.
There is a Cafe with great views out into the Humber.
You can cross the River Hull using the new millennium footbridge and
go into the town centre.
Located on Sammy's Point you follow the local signs from the city
centre.

Hands-On History is a Curriculum Resource Centre for
schools and it is open to the public during school holidays and
weekends.
Housed in Hulls old Grammar school located in South Church Side,
Hull.
The exhibitions include Victorian Britain : a themed interactive
exhibition examining many aspects of this era.
The Story Of Hull and its People and the Egyptian Exhibition,
which includes a 2,600 year old mummy and unique replicas of King
Tutankhamen's treasures.
